Developer iPhone">Vladimir Kofman has been working pretty hard the last few dates to slip in a couple more updates for the practical homebrew app Converter for Apple's iPhone.

This newest version, 0.16, includes fixes to the "Back" button issue, as well as a couple of new conversion categories for users to play around with.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Converter, it's a very solid homebrew application which nicely adds to the long list of features available on the iPhone.

It's basically a numeric converter for different categories for weight, time, volume, and a whole lot more. Here's the new list of changes since our previous coverage of the homebrew app:

v0.16 release

• Thanks to Predator (cdonadei at hotmail.com) Converter.app has a new icon!
• Fixed the "Back" button issue.
• Added switch button so you can easily switch between From and To units (I got a lot of requests for this feature).
• Added Kitchen measures category.

0.15 release

• Added U.S. units for Volume (gallon, pint, etc.).
• Added new measures: Time and Flow (Volume).
• Added "Back" button, so it is possible to go back from Measure/To/From screen without selecting anything.

The developer also mentioned that you can download Converter through the installation repository created for the app (http://iphone.vladimirkofman.com) to your Install.app sources list.

In case you've already downloaded the app recently, please note that Kofman has already changed the name back to Converter.app, since some users noted some inconsistencies with the file name in the previous version.
