QuickTime is a multimedia technology developed by Apple that is capable of handling various formats of digital video, sound, text, animation, music and immersive panoramic images. And recently, the Mac user's media player of choice has gotten even better, with the release of QuickTime 7.1.2. This new version addresses an issue with Apple's DVD creation software application called iDVD. It requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and is recommended for all QuickTime 7 users.
