macbookYour 12-inch iBook continues to serve you well, but the call of the MacBook, the last thing you need is some pesky Mac salesperson going on and on about how great the product is while deftly leaving out some less-than-positive details. Remember, it's always good to be a informed consumer.

If you won't let go of your iBook just yet, then it's best to check out what the MacBook has to offer and compare it to the iBook's specs. It's best to compare the two in the following categories: Design/Ergonomics, Processors, Storage, Internal Expansion, Peripherals, Graphics/Video/Audio, Networking, Operating Systems and Compatibility, Applications/Utilities, Services/Warranty, and Pricing.

Though the 13-inch MacBook obviously is better with 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo, compared to iBook's 1.33 GHz PowerPC G4, you might be surprised that iBook comes with better applications and utilities.
