Logic Studio users might find it useful to know that Apple has recently released a new version of the music production suite for the Mac OS X platform. The new set of updates include several changes and improvements with the different applications in the compilation.

Anyway, here's a breakdown of all the changes that were implemented across the different applications in Logic Studio:

Logic Pro 8.0.2

• This Logic Pro 8.0.2 update addresses specific customer and compatibility issues of Logic Pro 8.0. It includes Waveburner 1.5.2 and Impulse Response Utility 1.0.2, which address issues for Waveburner 1.5 and Impulse Response Utility 1.0 respectively .
• If you are using Logic Node you will need to update your Logic Node application on connected computers as well. After running the updater you will find an updated Logic Node installer called Logic Node 8.0.2.dmg in your Utilities folder.
• This update is recommended for all Logic Pro 8.0 users.

Pro Applications Update 2008-01

• Pro Applications Update 2008-01 is a revision to Final Cut Studio 2.0.  This update includes Final Cut Pro 6.0.3, Compressor 3.0.3, which addresses specific customer issues, installation issues, compatibility updates, general performance issues and improves overall stability.

MainStage 1.0.2

• MainStage 1.0.2 improves overall stability and addresses specific customer and general performance issues.
• This update is recommended for all MainStage users.

Soundtrack Pro 2.0.2 Update

• Soundtrack Pro 2.0.2 addresses specific customer issues and general performance issues and improves overall stability.
• This update is recommended for all Soundtrack Pro 2.0 users.

Waveburner 1.5.2 (included with Logic Pro 8.0.2 update)

• Waveburner 1.5.2 addresses specific customer issues and improves Leopard compatibility of Waveburner 1.5.
• This update is recommended for all Waveburner 1.5 users.

Impulse Response Utility 1.0.2 (included with Logic Pro 8.0.2 update)

• Impulse Response Utility 1.0.2 addresses specific customer and compatibility issues of Impulse Response Utility 1.0.
• This update is recommended for all Impulse Response Utility 1.0 users.
