Hopeful third-party developers who want a chance to see their homebrew projects on the opening day of the App Store launch had better send in their applications ASAP. An email sent out by the Cupertino-based company was recently intercepted by Ars Technica, which explained that devs have only until July 7 to submit their app requests for the grand opening of the online application store.

To be more specific, coders have only until 12 p.m. PDT that afternoon to send in their submissions. While Apple may still accept applications after the allotted deadline, recipients that submitted prior to the date and time will be ensured consideration.

The image on the side was included in the email, featuring a shot from the upcoming App Store. It certainly looks authentic, bearing a close similarity with the iTunes mobile store interface. It also seems like each application will be subjected to a user rating, as denoted by the five star system at the bottom of each app's title.
