And in other news of the Apple sphere, the Cupertino-based company has sent in invites for an upcoming press event revolving around the "iPhone Software Roadmap" inside the company's grounds. The invite highlights that discussions on Apple's software development kit (SDK) for the iPhone will take place, but they've also hinted that they'll also introduce the audience to "some exciting enterprising features." Enterprising features, says Apple. This may include what Tiny Code may be working on with Apple's consent, after the team disclosed that they were at work on "the next firmware release and SDK applications" in a collaborative project with the company. It was speculated that Tiny Code's work would soon be realized when Apple Software (otherwise Apple firmware) 1.1.4 rolls out, thanks to a to-do widget that touted this little clue: "FW 1.1.4 Alpha 2." And we don't think it'll include some Microsoft Exchange compatibility, functionality, and support. Yeah, we know that was pretty frank (and frankly, it smashed many dreams out there), but someone was bound to say it. The press event will kick off at Building 4, Town Hall of the Apple compound on March 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM, but we're not crossing our fingers on the off-chance that Apple will release the SDK seconds after it concludes. Okay, maybe we will for optimism's sake - or just in case Apple pulls off another "I said this, but now I say this." |

» Clearing up:
Tiny Code admitted it was a hoax, the whole working with Apple thing, just the other day, so I very much doubt we will be seeing any of the collaboration between them and said fruit company.
This being said: FINALLY, maybe some worth while apps that won't harvest my iPods battery life for a simple game of ZooKeeper.
