Apple rolls out firmware update v1.0 for MacBook, MacBook Pro - Image 1

Apple's website recently updated with a new article expounding on the new MacBook and MacBook Pro keyboard update. It's supposedly an auto-updater that aims to resolve the hitches users experience when trying to type after their MacBook has been operating idly for a while, and version 1.0 - the initial release - supports the following MacBook models:
  • MacBook (Late 2006)
  • MacBook (Mid 2007)
  • MacBook (Late 2007)
  • MacBook Pro (17-inch Core 2 Duo)
  • MacBook Pro (15-inch Core 2 Duo)
  • MacBook Pro (Mid 2007, 2.4/2.2GHz)
  • MacBook Pro (Late 2007, 2.4/2.2GHz)
How do you know if you need the update? Easy. If you find that the first key that you depress after allowing your MacBook to sit idly isn't recognized by the system and you find it irritating, then you'll need this fix. It also fixes a few other minor glitches, so you'd probably update anyway. Head on over to the article through the Via link below for more details.
