We've got two bits of news coming in for the resident Mac users, both involving software updates.

The first matter is that Apple has released the MacBook Air's Bluetooth Firmware Update version 1.0. The update will require 1.2 MB of data, and can be downloaded manually using the Safari browser, or via the Air's Software Update function.

Mac users will also want to keep on the lookout for Apple's Pro Applications Update 2008-01. This release is a revision for Final Cut Studio 2.0, giving it new camera support. The update will also add newer versions of Final Cut Studio's apps: Final Cut Pro 6.0.3, Compressor 3.0.3, Apple HDV Codec 1.4, and PluginManager 1.7.3.
