Apple's iPhone mobile phone - Image 1Ever since the release of Apple's new SDK package for third-party developers, there's been an incredible response from the homebrew community. Apple wasn't lazy when it came to updating their hot release either - the iPhone SDK beta 2 has recently gone live and is now available for download on the Apple servers.

A word of caution, though: the servers hosting the new SDK package are currently getting hammered due to the amount of traffic running through them. Considering the hefty 2.1 GB size of the software, it might be a good idea to look for alternative sites who might have already downloaded and hosted the file.

The iPhone Dev Center already have updated documentations for both Xcode and Interface Builder, so it might be a good idea to read up on both while you're waiting for your download to finish. In any case, you can visit Apple's Developer Connection site through the link we've provided below and check out the new SDK beta 2 for yourself.
