Apple is definitely revving up for the release of the Mac OS X 10.5.3. The next load of security and maintenance changes could actually arrive sooner than expected if the company maintains its speed.

Last Tuesday saw the release of the latest build, namely 9D11. This build adds almost 20 more fixes and code corrections. Summing it all up, that brings the software's release with almost 100 improvements.

What's notable about the recent improvements are the fixes applied to AirPort connection issues and problems facing MacBook Air's sleep function. Also, new changes have been implemented to the Time Machine.

Aside from that, there are also improvements to Spaces layering and preferences, graphics errors, display  within Mail.app, Back to My Mac communication issues, and Automator issues when interacting with Mail.app.

The particular update now has an approximate size of about 410MB in Delta form and about 530MB in Combo form. As for further additions to the forthcoming update to the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, we'll keep you guys posted on it.
