Apple faces patent infringement lawsuit with Time Machine - Image 1Apple certainly has had its fair share of trouble. It's regularly happens in courts and lawsuits have been filed left and right against the company.

This time around the complaint is from Mirror Worlds, a company from Texas. They said that products Time Machine, iPod, and the iPhone infringe on four patents owned by Mirror World.

Three of these are from Patents 6,725,427. The fourth patent is basically an extension of the others. The patents cover what is known as "document stream operating system."

Simply put, documents that are of similar nature, will be organized in chronological order and displayed in a pile. Although specific products that were infringed on weren't specified, the features mentioned in them are found as well in the said products of Apple.

As of this writing, Mirror Worlds is asking for the usual injunction plus a lot for the damages done. Well, we'll see what will happen to this case in the future. Better keep your eyes on our site for more updates.
