Aside from the iPhone and Mac computers, it appears that another popular Apple product is getting the VoIP treatment. We have received word that Brandon Holland has completed work on a native Skype plugin for the Apple TV.

This turns your digital media receiver into an impromptu phone. We're not sure if you can use the phone service and still use th device's standard functions, though.

That said, we note that this plugin is still in its Beta phase. Holland further states that no documentation or installation instructions are out for the moment, though they should be coming soon.
