iPhone 3G - Image 1 Wondering how much it will cost to pick up a new 3G iPhone? AT&T, the official carrier of the phone in the US, has finally released the pricing of the unit as well as the subscription plans they have for it.

The phone itself, complete with a two-year plan, will be available for US$ 199 (8 GB version) and US$ 299 (16GB version). Note that this is only applicable for users who purchased an iPhone prior to 7/11, those activating a new line with AT&T, and current subscriber eligible for an upgrade.

Current subscribers who are not eligible for an upgrade can purchase the unit (with a two year subscription plan) for US$ 399 (8GB) or US$ 499 (16GB). Those who don't want to be tied down by a contract can also opt to purchase the phone for for $599 (8GB) and $699 (16GB)
