iPhone Apple - Image 1Good news to iPhone owners in the US: AT&T is confirmed to be offering free Wi-Fi access for iPhone users through its numerous hotspot locations (we're looking at 71,000 here). These locations  include those installed in shops such as Barnes and Noble and Starbucks, with whom Apple formed a partnership with not-so long ago.

Those interested in taking advantage of AT&T's big freebie can just walk over to their nearest participating AT&T hotspot, and access its iPhone user agent where they can input a valid iPhone number in order to surf.

There's even more good news: apparently, laptops can join in on the free Wi-Fi fun with a bit of know-how. According to a Macrumors reader, the iPhone User Agent can be spoofed on laptops. As long as you have a valid iPhone number, you'll be able to get surfing for free in no time.
