AT&T disables free iPhone Wi-Fi temporarily - Image 1A few days ago, we brought you guys good news. We reported that AT&T has enabled free wireless internet to their iPhone users. Now, we have bad news. Apparently, this service has been disabled for the time being.

Before you guys go on a rampage, here are some of the things that you need to know first. Although there hasn't been official word regarding the situation, users have reported that they couldn't utilize the free service for their iPhones. From their experience, they can't log-in using their phone numbers anymore.

It seems that this holds true for places that the company has mentioned to have the free service. These places have been identified as Starbucks and Barnes & Noble. Just what is up with the service? Could there be some technical difficulty with the way things are going?

This is certainly disgruntling news. Hopefully things will be resolved in the coming days. We'll keep you guys updated with the developments on this matter.
